Pay attention to the hooves both when the horse is stabled or kept at pasture, as the hooves are constantly exposed to urine, manure, wet and muddy surfaces.

• Always make sure to pick out the hooves every day! Be alert to any changes in the frog.

If the horse has very deep frog clefts or if you notice changes in the frog, press a frog stick into the frog. The frog will then quickly regain its proper moisture balance.

Replace the stick after 2-4 days or at the interval that suits your horse best.
