Eclipse Biofarmab Jointbuilder is a joint supplement that contains several important nutrients to provide the horse with a well-functioning musculoskeletal system.
CONTENTS
Glucosamine HCl: a naturally occurring substance that is an important component in the formation of tendons, joints, and cartilage.
Inulin: a metabolic dietary fiber (prebiotic) that contributes to a healthy gut flora and good conditions for nutrient absorption in the intestine.
Collagen: a building material in so-called connective tissue such as ligaments, tendons, bones, and teeth. Studies show that hydrolyzed collagen is absorbed in the intestine and participates in the regeneration of, among other things, tendons and cartilage.
Hyaluronic acid (HA): added to restore the viscous, protective consistency of the synovial fluid. The size of the hyaluronic acid molecule determines the effect in the joint—the larger the molecule, the better. The molecule in the added HA is of very high quality and has a size of 1,300,000 Da, which is a very large molecule.
Chondroitin sulfate: a naturally occurring molecule in joint cartilage, which gives the cartilage its shock-absorbing properties. When chondroitin sulfate is supplemented in the feed, there is a surplus of building blocks and cartilage formation is stimulated.
MSM: an organic sulfur that is important for the construction of cells and helps increase the permeability of the cell membrane, which in turn facilitates the removal of waste products and enables more efficient nutrient uptake. The main source of MSM for horses is grass; the MSM content decreases significantly when grass is dried into hay and is virtually absent in haylage.
