Turnout Rug All Weather Hurricane is a unique water-blocking outdoor rug for the paddock or pasture. The rug guarantees a dry horse, even in the worst downpours. Therefore, the rug is perfect for horses that are outside around the clock. The rug is very durable and remains 100% waterproof without needing to be re-treated.

For 100% wind and waterproofness, Kentucky used the same material as the traditional yellow rain jackets fishermen use. The coating is applied to the outside of the rug and is therefore unique in the horse rug market. Thanks to the synthetic rabbit skin on the inside of the rug, it is very soft against the skin and prevents chafing.

Hurricane has two classic stainless steel buckles with a brass finish at the front, two cross surcingles, and a plastic-covered elastic cord that is removable. The classic closures in artificial leather and the gold details make your horse look sophisticated, even when it rains.

If you want extra protection, you can purchase a separate neck cover that fits the Hurricane rug.

The neck cover is available in 0 g or 150 g and can easily be detached from the rug with 2 strong closures.

Washing Instructions:

To clean the outdoor rug, you can machine wash the rug at 30 degrees or simply rinse it with a hose/clean with a sponge. It is best to let the rug air dry afterward. Unlike other waterproof rugs, this rug does not need to be treated with fluorocarbon as washing does not damage the 100% waterproofness of this rug.
