Natalie's grooming tips

As a former groom, Natalie puts great emphasis on a neat finish.
The horses should shine both in the competition arena and during training, hence the motto: “If we’re not the best just yet, we should at least be the best looking!”

To help her, she uses Pimp My Pony horse shampoo from Naf to get the horse really clean and beautiful. Massage into the coat and then rinse thoroughly. The shampoo also has a lovely scent that enhances the feeling of cleanliness and leaves the coat shiny and nice.

When the horse has dried and been properly groomed, Dreamcoat from Carr & Day & Martin is sprayed on and then wiped off with a microfiber cloth to bring out a glossy shine in the coat, mane, and tail.
Dreamcoat is also excellent to use if you don’t have time to shampoo the horse before training, as it hides dust in, for example, the mane comb and gives the mane a nice luster.

The last but still so important detail is the hooves, which also get extra care with Absorbine Supershine Hoof Polish. Apply the polish to well-cleaned and dry hooves for a high-gloss finish.
The advantage of the hoof polish is that it doesn’t get sticky, so shavings and sand won’t stick to it.
